Schoeps RCMR 1200 without output connector Colette extension tube for pocket transmitters, 120cm, incl. RG 8, unterminated
Schoeps RCMR 1200 without output connector Colette extension tube for pocket transmitters, 120cm, incl. RG 8, unterminated
The RCMR microphone extension tube from Schoeps is identical in appearance to the well-known RC extension tubes of that company's "Colette" microphone series. It becomes a complete microphone when combined with any Schoeps capsule, of which some 20 different types are available.
- specially designed for using SCHOEPS ”Colette”-series microphone capsules with pocket transmitters
- low power consumption: only about 2 to 5% that of a phantom-powered microphone
- low-impedance, unbalanced output
Application
While the original RC series requires a microphone amplifier such as the phantom-powered Schoeps CMC 6--, the RCMR is designed for direct connection to pocket transmitters; thus these elegant extension tubes can now be used for "wireless" microphones. The RCMR has already been used successfully in numerous television broadcasts, including award shows.
The RCMR is available in standard lengths of 350, 700 and 1200 mm.
Specifications
| RCMR 350g, - 700g, - 1200g | |

| Frequency response | The frequency response characteristic will be that of the capsule which is chosen. |
| Maximum output voltage with 20kΩ load impedance´ | 900 mV (-1 dBV) |
| Maximum output voltage with 2kΩ load impedance | 560 mV (-5 dBV) |
| Output impedance | at 1 kHz: 15 Ω |
| Length of the output cable | 2 m standard; other lengths available on request |
| Diameter of the output cable | 3 mm |
| Connector | The connector is wired to the customer's specifications. |
